Don Purdue is a third-generation Nevadan, he is 1980 graduate of Clark High School and a 1985 graduate of the University of Nevada. His great-grandmother and her family were early settlers of the Goodsprings area of Southern Nevada.

Don has spent the last 30 years in land development, construction management and residential construction. He currently serves as Vice President Project Development for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Prior to starting Project 150 Don has been a volunteer, fundraiser and eager participant for various organizations including the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. His first volunteer experience was in college when he led a group of inner-city children on a back-packing trip through Yosemite National Park.

Don and his wife, Laurie Abdo, have four children; ages 13 – 18. When time allows, Don enjoys hiking, endurance bicycle riding and an occasional Sprint Triathlon.
